How Heavy Is The Rebalanse Super MD Massage Chair?
If you thought the trending Rebalanse Twinstar Dual Engine Massage Chair was any heavy considering its gross weight of 265 lbs, you are in for a rude shock especially considering that the Super MD has a gross weight of a whopping 402 lbs.
That gross weight is twice the new weight of the Twinstar Dual Engine since it has a net weight of 201 lbs.
Since Rebalanse offers a self-pickup option from their Houston store, don’t worry too much as after acquiring the seat, they will help you load it onto your truck.
You will only need some helpers to help you get to where you plan to take your massage sessions.
This is the primary con about the Super MD massage chair. The other con that is absolutely not related to the design or features of this chair is the price.
How Is The Massage Experience?
To begin with, this is a single-engine massage chair, so my experience with it was different from the Twinstar model.
Unlike the Twinstar which has both 4D and 3D massage types, the Super MD incorporates the 4D type.
Typically, you won’t experience the feeling of having two masseuses like the Twinstar offers, but the super MD is unique in its own way, which makes it pricier by around $1K.
Immediately after setting my massage session, I noticed that the sessions followed my direction of how I had leaned on the chair.
That is to tell you that the 4D mechanism works from a quick scan calibration to detect the position of the spine, which eventually massages your body according to the body shape.
This chair has 56 airbags that get progressively inflated to properly and safely embrace the waist, shoulders, legs, and down all the way to your feet.
All of these 56 airbags move for maximum functioning and keep on inflating or deflating depending on the most applicable use cases.
About foot massage, there is an inflated airbag that is inflated in such a way that it hardens to feel like a shoe.
The Omni bearing rollers are double-heated to keep your sole massaged. When it comes to massaging the lower parts of the legs, the airbags have a variable oscillation to keep the calves and ankles also kneaded.
For users on the taller side, they can extend the foot massager up to 8 inches.
Also about the heating function, I noticed that the Super MD has effective heated rollers for back massage and heated sole rollers for foot massage. If you are in a cold environment, simply engage the heating functions and enjoy getting your stiff muscles distressed.
If you are too keen on your health, we recommend that you use the sensor on the right arm to scan your finger and note down the readings before a session. After the session, scan your finger and see the differences between before and after of your heartbeat, microcirculation, and your blood oxygen levels.
Does The Super MD Massage Chair Offer A Yoga Stretch?
Unlike most massage chairs in its class, the Super MD offers a full Yoga stretch to gently engage your muscle groups in areas such as the legs, neck, and back.
