How Is The Massage Experience Like?
To begin with, the Athletic Pro Massage Chair comes with a classic look, and as such, anyone privy to massage chairs won’t have any problem using it.
Unlike the upper models such as the top-selling Twinstar Dual Engine Massage Chair that features 4D + 3D Massage types, the Athletic PRO comes with the 3D type.
These two chairs are worlds apart as the Twinstar works as though the user has two masseuses working on them.
The Athletic PRO has its 3D mechanism working along with its 4 silicone rollers. This 3D mechanism is responsible for moving left or right and up or down.
For versatility purposes, I noticed that users can adjust the width, intensity, and roller speed; with the in and out movements being negative.
Once you sit on the chair, there is an automatic scan of the body shape, where, the 3D massage mechanism determines which parts of the body need a massage the most.
If, for example, there is a need for a massage from the spine to the lumbar, the scan will work with the S-shape track for proper relaxation.
Also thanks to the L track, spine decompression happens perfectly. Again, this track helps the massage mechanism to reach beneath the seat and work on the hamstrings and glutes.
If you have kept your chair in a cold area or your feet feel cold and you would like to help your stiff muscles, use the optional heat therapy in the lumbar heat area. When you no longer need heat therapy, switch it off using the remote control or command button.
Another vital feature of the Rebalanse Athletic Pro is the stretching aspect. The airbags engage the stretching sessions by focusing on muscle groups such as the back, legs, and neck level. That way, the spine gets decompressed, and the waist, legs, and hips get fully stretched.
Lastly, it’s about foot massage. This chair provides an extendable leg rest of up to 8 inches to help massage users of different heights. The built-in kneading rollers are large enough to get the work done. Again, there are sole massages are done by special rollers and fixed airbags to keep the feet firm on the chair.
How Are The Controls In This Chair?
There are quick command buttons and remote control to keep this massage chair working conveniently for the user.
On the left side of the PRO, there are command buttons to start or stop the chair, adjust the chair’s positioning, and help you navigate the various massage programs.
With the remote control, there is an LCD screen and several buttons to help users select their preferred automatic and manual massage programs. This remote control is strategically positioned in the chair’s side pocket.
On the left side, too, there is a USB charger connector, too, to help you charge your mobile device.
Like any other Rebalanse massage chair, the Athletic PRO features Bluetooth Speakers rated at 80 dB for a proper music experience while undergoing a session.

How Many Airbags Does The Athletic PRO Have?
Unlike the more premium Rebalanse massage chairs that have more than 50 airbags, the Athletic PRO comes with 26.
However, this is not to tell you that these aren’t as efficient comfort-wise.
These are fixed to provide the much-needed pressure for intense massage on the legs, hands, and shoulders.
For hand massage, each one has an independent airbag for maximum efficiency. For the lower legs, there is a set of airbags for proper massage, and the same case applies to the feet.
